South Valley

The journey to the South Valley of Cusco is an unforgettable experience where we will observe a series of beautiful landscapes from 3100 meters above sea level to 3600 meters above sea level. Along the route, we will appreciate Tipón, one of the largest works of Inca irrigation engineering. Pikillacta, a pre-Inca city, highlights the great urban planning of the Wari culture, containing more than a thousand constructions. The Church of San Pedro, also known as the Sistine Chapel of America, is where we will contemplate the almost entirely Mudejar-style decorated interior, in addition to its abundant canvases that integrate into the ensemble with their luxurious gold frames.

On the way we will also be able to appreciate the very well preserved skeleton of a prehistoric animal, Glyptodont.
